A monthly morning walk in Hagley and the surrounding area, then a coffee and a bacon roll. It's for men who could do with a chat, or who just fancy some company.

Walking side by side is easier than sitting across a table from someone. You don't have to make eye contact, and nobody minds a bit of silence. Talk if you want to. Don't if you don't. Just turn up.

What to expect

A steady walk of about an hour, at chatting pace, not a race. Then a hot drink and breakfast together. Wear decent shoes and dress for the weather.

Who it's for

Any bloke 18 or over. You don't need to be struggling, and you don't need to explain yourself. Come on your own; most people will.

The ground rules

What's said on the walk stays on the walk. No one has to share. It's peer support, not therapy, and we'll always point you to proper help if you need it.

First walk

Sunday 11 October, 10am

Where: Hagley and the surrounding area. To keep it low-key, I'll send the exact meeting point to everyone who signs up a few days before.

Only if you'd like the meeting point by WhatsApp or text. I'll never share it or add you to a group without asking.
